Quality Control Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Kerry based client. The Quality Control Manager has responsibility for the management of Chemical and Microbiological Laboratories on site, including all aspects of laboratory management - health and safety, personnel, testing internal and external. THE ROLE: * Management of the Microbiology, Chemistry, Milk Intake, Cheese and Blending laboratories. * Responsibility for the Health & Safety (H&S) standards within the laboratories. * Ensuring all testing is performed in accordance with relevant procedures. * Management, training and development of all Quality Control personnel working in Laboratories. * Working with Production, Quality and Supply Chain Departments to effectively prioritise testing of samples from multiple plants on site and from other sites within the Primary Dairy Cluster. REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related Science or equivalent. * 5+ years' experience in a relevant role. * Wide-ranging Quality Control experience. * Proven success in managing a team in a busy laboratory environment, and aligning individuals and teams to business objectives. * Demonstrate competency in the introduction, operation, calibration and qualification of a wide spectrum of analytical instrumentation.
