My client, a well-established retailer of flooring, bathrooms and furniture is looking for an experienced and target driven Showroom Sales Consultant to join their Carpet & Flooring Department in Kerry. ****I have vacancies in Tralee & Killarney**** The ideal candidate will have experience of selling Carpets & Flooring in a customer facing environment alongside excellent product and technical knowledge. You will have a huge passion for retail, always looking for sales opportunities with the drive to exceed your targets and most importantly close that sale!! You will offer a high-quality service and a comfortable shopping experience to your clients who are home owners, interior designers, tradesmen and architects. The Showroom Sales Consultant will manage the process from closing the sale to delivery and everything in between - not forgetting the after service! Key Responsibilities for the job of Showroom Sales - Flooring. Give specialist product advise to residential and commercial customers. Provide quotations based on customer requirements and budget. Know your competition and be able to overcome objections. Follow up on these quotes and close the sale. Look for opportunities to cross sell and up sell. Order stock and arrange delivery and fit out. Process all relevant paperwork. Keep customer updated throughout the process giving realistic timelines. Build relationships to encourage repeat business and positive word of mouth. Exceed your revenue, margin and discount targets. Provide any after sales service. Rectify any issues in a timely manner. Skills & Experience for the job of Showroom Sales - Flooring. Knowledge of tiles, bathrooms and flooring is an advantage. A track record of selling and smashing targets! Extremely customer focused. Efficient with good attention to detail. Is familiar with the industry - builders, tradesmen, interior designers, architects. Package. €30K but negotiable depending on experience. Sales Commission. Free Parking. Staff Discount.
