Channel Account Manager






Fexco Payments & FX are currently recruiting for a Channel Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Job Purpose: The Channel Account Manager maintains and extends our relationship with strategically important partners, ensures that our interaction with them is collaborative in nature and grows their lifetime value to Fexco against both revenue and profitability targets. Main Responsibilities: The candidate will assume ownership for all aspects of the relationship with the acquiring partner & 3rd party providers. The candidate leads acquirersand 3rd party providers through account planning cycle, which includes mutual performance objectives, financial metrics and critical milestones for a one and three year period. It is a fast paced environment which necessitates day to day account management. The candidate must have strong ability to multi-task and prioritise while never compromising on the high level of customer service required to maintain and build long term partnerships. The candidate must also undertake channel development activities within the channel network. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to work autonomously, plan strategically and have a proven track record of working in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment. Working across the regions, you’ll work with others in the business (product, finance, operations, marketing) as well as relevant external parties to enhance our knowledge base, expertise and sales strategy around a number of targeted growth verticals and business segments. You’ll create industry awareness of our solution set, building relationships with key target executives and identifying and pursuing qualified leads from business development through to proposal and the award stages of the sales cycle. You’ll work to challenging targets and be willing to put in the hard yards to deliver market share gains within an accelerated timeframe. You’ll be comfortable working with sales technologies (CRM/Salesforce etc.) and use them to both work more effectively and consistently provide accurate strategic pipeline forecasts. Understand the key drivers behind our business with the acquiring partner; be able to identify and examine issues with KPIs and bring these to the attention of the acquiring partner or the appropriate internal Payments & FX team. Qualifications/ Experience Required: Minimum 5 years account management / account director experience. A highly competitive individual, confident in your ability to sell, assertive, and dependable with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Demonstrated ability to quickly build confidence with prospects, customers, and internal team members and consistently close large deals across a broad range of sales cycles. Outstanding interpersonal skills, innovation, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross group/functional teams with a high degree of independence and success.
