Payroll Specialist






Fexco Group are currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a full time, fixed term contract basis. This role is located in Killorglin, Co.Kerry. Person Profile: The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter, dependable, and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You have a proven record of strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and relationship building at all levels. Main Responsibilities: Process weekly payrolls in an accurate and timely manner. Dealing with all aspects of the payroll process - Starters & Leavers, BIK, Pensions, Bonus, and other statutory and voluntary additions/deductions. Ensure accurate and timely Payroll Submissions, Statement acknowledgements and payments on Revenue On Line system. Compilation reports for 3rd Party service providers. Participate in payroll process improvement projects, efficiencies, automation and systems enhancements. Ad hoc reporting requirements. Advising clients on PRSI and basic tax issues relating to payroll. Compilation of reports for 3rd party service providers. Qualifications/Experience Required: Ipass payroll qualification. Minimum of 3 years experience required. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Excel. Experience in one of the following payroll packages is a distinct advantage, Core, Oracle, Sage. Experience in high volume payroll is desirable. Knowledge and experience of PAYE modernisation and Revenue requirements. Competencies Required: Self- motivated with a strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Strong team player. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills.
