Our client is in the process of setting up a new manufacturing facility in Kerry. We are seeking a Production Manager for this new facility. We are seeking a candidate that is ready to take the next step in his or hers career to form part of this new start-up. You will be responsible for setting up their manufacturing facility, manage the operations, recruitment and bringing together systems and procedures. Essential requirements summarised. The successful candidate will have 5 years manufacturing experience, ideally providing manufacturing products to the pharmaceutical industry. You will possess with strong leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver creative key decisions. Cultural Fit. The Production Manager will have full responsibility for the site operations team including planning, engineering, logistics and production on a day-to-day basis. Identifying opportunities for improvement within existing products, processes, people and equipment at the Irish site. As Production Manager, you will be accountable for production, product quality, customer service and conversion costs for the functions and departments within the site scope of operations. Helping to achieve sales turnover, on time delivery and profit targets, ensuring all packing processes are planned to maximise capacity across all production suites and all line speeds and headcounts are managed against target.
