Our client, a major Multinational has an exciting role for an Operations Manager or a Production Manager ready to take the next step in his or hers career to form part of their Irish Start up in the Southwest. You will be responsible for setting up their manufacturing facility, manage the operations, recruitment and bringing together systems and procedures. Essential requirements. The successful candidate will have manufacturing experience, ideally have experience providing manufacturing products to the pharmaceutical industry. You will have a minimum of 5 - 8 years experience, along with strong leadership & problem-solving skills. An ability to take ownership and deliver creative key decisions is essential. Cultural Fit. The Operations Manager is instrumental in the growth and development to our client. Having full responsibility for the site operations team including planning, engineering, logistics and production on a day to day basis. Identifying opportunities for improvement within existing products, processes, people and equipment at the Irish site. The Operations Manager is accountable for production, product quality, customer service and conversion costs for the functions and departments within the site scope of operations. Helping to achieve sales turnover, on time delivery and profit targets, ensuring all packing processes are planned to maximise capacity across all production suites and all line speeds and headcounts are managed against target.
