Job Purpose. Fexco Technology Solutions deliver a broad range of IT services to the overall Fexco Group. These services include software development, project management and the overarching responsibility for the IT Infrastructure that supports all aspects of the Group’s business. The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to acquire practical, real-world software engineering experience and gain a comprehensive understanding of how software solutions are built, deployed and supported. Main Responsibilities: Design and implementation of new functional modules from start to end. Maintenance, support and enhancement of the existing applications. Participate as a member of an Agile development team. Planning and prioritizing development priorities working closely with team members. Contribute to the delivery of software solutions in a full stack development environment of Java, JavaScript, HTML 5, Docker and the use of the latest cloud technologies. Competencies/Experience Required: 2.1 or higher degree in Computer Science / Maths / Software Engineering. 0-2 years’ experience of Java programming. Ability to prioritize tasks, to ensure deadlines are achieved. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly understand business requirements. Ambitious, motivated, eager to develop within a team environment. Display personal commitment, effort, motivation and initiative in all aspects of work.
