We are seeking a Payroll Administrator for our Kerry based client. This will be an 18-month contract position to December 2020. The Payroll Administrator will work within a payroll team and be responsible for processing weekly payroll. As the Payroll Administrator, you will be a self-starter, dependable and can manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You will have excellent communication and with the ability to build relationship at all levels. Responsibilities: Process weekly payrolls in an accurate and timely manner. Dealing with all aspects of the payroll process - Starters & Leavers, BIK, Pensions, Bonus, and other statutory and voluntary additions/deductions. Ensure accurate and timely Payroll Submissions, Statement acknowledgements and payments on Revenue On Line system. Participate in payroll process improvement projects, efficiencies, automation and systems enhancements. Ad hoc reporting requirements. Advising clients on PRSI and basic tax issues relating to payroll. Compilation of reports for 3rd party service providers. Candidate profile: IPASS payroll qualification desirable. Ideally 3 years payroll experience. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Excel. Experience in one of the following payroll packages is a distinct advantage, Core, Oracle, Sage. Experience in high volume payroll is desirable. Knowledge and experience of PAYE modernisation and Revenue requirements. Organised and methodical. Ability to prioritise and use own initiative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 pm with some flexibility required.
