Our client is a long established builders provider/ DIY merchant based in North Kerry. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking to employ a plumber counter sales person. Due to the increasing technical aspect of Plumbing & Heating, the successful candidate will be required to have an extensive plumbing background with current relevant knowledge of heating and plumbing products, ideally with experience in selling. The role will entail dealing with existing and new customers, face to face or by phone, understanding their needs and providing them with advice on products and solutions, taking their orders and ensuring that the customer receives the best possible customer service. It will require the generation of quotations and the follow up of same. Other duties will include ordering of stock, merchandising of stock, stock taking and keep abreast of the latest products and trends. The role requires one to be flexible and have the ability to work with a progressive team. Computer competency is a requirement. Working hours are 39 hours / week, Mon - Saturday, with a day off during the week. The company operate a flexi system which facilitates holidays and days off.
