Fexco Managed Business Solutions and Outsourcing is currently recruiting for a Project Co-ordinator. The Project Co-ordinator will act as a Support Function within the SEAI team for the Deep Retrofit Pilot Programme.This role is based in Cahersiveen and is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. Job Profile: The Deep Retrofit Pilot Programme was launched in 2017 is a multi-annual pilot programme (2017 – 2019) for the 1stpilot phase moving to 2ndpilot phase from 2020 will inform a larger programme capable of providing large scale deep retrofit in Ireland. With Market capacity increasing for deep retrofit (currently at c15 service providers completing c200 homes currently active in the market, SEAI are now seeking a Tier II resource to engage with service providers to support the operational management of deep retrofit pilot project delivery, to support SEAI project completions and spend objectives. Job Function. Support the SEAI Deep Retrofit Pilot Programme team to drive deep retrofit service provider project completions. Provide operational support and provide input on the operational delivery of deep retrofit. Assist and support the project management of Deep Retrofit Pilot Programme, driving operational completions, project tracking and financial performance. Assist and support the Innovative thinking on design and development of programme or enhancements, events and initiatives to improve overall programme reach and uptake. Assist and support the partnering with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Inform deep retrofit pilot programme design enhancements and developments. Key Responsibilities. Support the project management completion of deep retrofit pilot projects. Monitor project documentation requirements provided by service providers via SEAI IT platform to support both technical and financial programme requirements. Engage with service providers to support project initiation and implementation. Report project status of each pilot programme project. Drive close-out of pilot programme projects. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with deep retrofit pilot programme service providers. Monitor project provision of project documentation to demonstrate both technical and financial pilot programme requirements thereby support programme spend objectives. Provide insights on project challenges that may inform scheme enhancements. Assist and support the development of SEAI marketing and communications with service providers. Provide input to and action output from Voice of Customer (VOC) process to improve overall programme experience. Assist and support in conducting the ongoing online experience, incidence, organisational tasks including website updates, handling programme inquiries and general programme administration. Inform on pilot programme development with insights through contractor engagements to inform IT needs and technology developments. Any other duties as assigned from time to time. Assist and develop, review and maintain standard documents and communications. Key Knowledge and Skills. A capacity to foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and external stakeholders; to work in multi-disciplinary teams and to network effectively. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Strong project management and organisation skills and knowledge of business process management. Well-developed IT skills (excel and powerpivot. Strong proactive approach to achieving results, including managing scope, time, cost and quality. Strong operational delivery of results to support pilot project reporting and project close-out. Flexible approach to problem solving and decision making to ensure the best solution is achieved focusing on the need for greater efficiency and effective delivery. Ability to work on own initiative in driving project completions. Good knowledge of BER which is required at pre and post works stage and a key underpinning tool informing project completions and programme objectives. Be technically competent and familiar with current construction practices and renewable products; Qualifications and Experience. Essential: Degree level (or greater) or equivalent professional qualification ideally in technical, design or architectural discipline. Minimum four years’ experience of working in this or a related area. Knowledge of building technologies industry, buildings or another relevant sector. Understanding of project management methodologies advantageous. Key Tasks. Project Initiation. Initial engagement with service provider to provide overview requirements for delivery of a pilot project. This includes contractual requirements, timelines, technical and financial documentation requirements to support project close-out and payment. Project execution. Ongoing monitoring of project completions engagement with service providers reminding of contract arrangements and documentation at early stage supporting early readiness of project closeout. Deep Retrofit Pilot Programme reporting. Reporting of project status for each home as part of the pilot project to provide % complete based on scope. Deep Retrofit Project close out. Operational monitoring of project completions driving project completions mitigating against potential project delays. Project risk management. Ongoing monitoring of project status and reporting of potential risk areas on particular project delivery. Project communication. Support service provider workshops as part of programme development workshops. Capacity building. Support SEAI objectives to increase programme uptake by both service provider and consumers.
