Warehouse Manager - Co. Kerry. We are seeking a Warehouse Manager for a Kerry based retail outlet. Managing a team of about 15, you will have excellent people management skills and previous experience in a similar role. Candidate requirements: Relevant experience in Warehouse Manager position. Knowledge of supply chain procedures. Working knowledge of ERP system. Excellent People Management skills including the ability to lead and motivate team. Excellent organisation, communication and negotiation abilities. Flexible attitude to meet business demands as part of a larger team. Job responsibilities: Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Stock Control. Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring health & safety and security procedures and protocols. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. Monitor sales orders to ensure transfers are correct. Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement. Management of warehouse staff including recruiting, training and appraising. job results. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
