Position: Clinical Nurse Manager - CNM. Location: County Kerry - North. Type : Full time, Permanent. Salary: DOE benefits. Availability : immediately. A medium size nursing home in North Kerry, under new management is currently recruiting a CNM - Clinical Nurse Manager to assist in daily running of this home. You will work along side a DON, establishing and maintaining a hight quality standard of residential and daily care and activity in accordance with the best national and international practice an within available resources. Co-ordinate the management of all staff, frontline and multi-disciplinary support service personnel in establishing and maintaining the standard as set out by the company and Statutory Regulations. Essential Requirements. Have 2-3 years experience as a CNM ideally in the care of elderly person. Have some previous staff management experience and strong management abilities. Strong leadership skills. HIQA experience essential. Interested in Staff development and training. HR / Staff Management experience an advantage. Must have very good communication skills. Responsibilities & duties: • Providing the best nursing care possible to elderly service users. • Liaising with families, GPs and other auxiliary agents. • Ensuring all current legislation is adhered too. • A team player, helping promote great working conditions, colleague relations and care to clients. • Staff Management (some experience essential), Staff training & development. • Effective Communication skills. • Meet & exceed HIQA standards & regulations. • Strong personality.
