Position. This position requires an experienced IT support engineer to work in a Production orientated Regulated environment supporting Integrated Production Lines in the areas of SCADA and Recipe Management Systems. A good working knowledge of Networking, PC/Server Hardware and Windows XP/7/W2K8/W2K12 and the ability to configure/installing IT hardware and software. This position will also require the candidate to work with Project teams relating to System upgrades and support new and existing Project implementations. Duties. Production Support o SCADA Support. o MES Manufacturing Execution Systems Support. o Global Serialisation L3 and L2 support for packaging system. o IPC (Industrial PC) support (XP, Win7, Win10, W2K8, W2K12. o PC System Hard disk Imagine and Restore. Project Support o GMP Document Life Cycle review. o SAT (Systems Acceptance Testing) support. o FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) support. Liaise with 3rd party Hardware /Software Vendors. Skills and Competencies. A Degree/Diploma in IT or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a Production PC/Networking administrator role. Experience working with Production automation systems (e.g. SCADA. Exhibit strong analytical, communication, organisational and time management skills. Possess strong administrative and advanced IT skills. Possess knowledge & experience of networking technologies and protocols. Self-motivated with efficiency and ability to multi-task and prioritise. Positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude. Working knowledge of Imagining Tools e.g. Acronis. Ability to work alone yet closely with end users and 3rd Party suppliers.
