Our client is a leading 4* Hotel which holds a superb reputation for its high quality food and its forward thinking product. This Restaurant Chef role is to oversee a restaurant kitchen operation consisting of a modern restaurant and lounge producing high class cuisine. This restaurant has its own galley type kitchen for restaurant service. Our client requires a restaurant chef who is a real 'foodie' with exceptional hotel, restaurant and fine dining backgrounds who wish to continue producing high quality food but also seek a more positive working environment. This role requires an extremely organised and 'hand on' approach by a chef who is well versed to working within a high pressured and fast paced kitchen environment. Role Criteria. " The ideal Chef will have previous fine dining restaurant or 4*/5 star hotel experience and held 1 Rosettes. " The Chef will be responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and health and safety. " The Chef will be responsible for junior staff development and ensuring high levels of food standards are achieved. " Is creative, pushes the boundaries. " Has worked in an all fresh produce kitchen where everything is produced from scratch. " Has unbelievable eye for detail and has a food artistry wizardry. " The Chef will be reporting directly into the Executive Head Chef. " As Chef you must be passionate and have the ability to cope under pressure.
