This hotel on your property will catapult you to further success. The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager and will take ultimate responsibility for all housekeeping aspects of the property with the Assistant Accommodation Manager, Supervisors & Accommodation Assistants. Responsible for all rooms & public areas with the hotel. They will have the ability to work on their own initiate and have the ability to lead and direct a dedicated team. They will be professional, enthusiastic and have prior work experience as an accommodation manager within the hotel industry as well as possess excellent customer care and interpersonal skills. 2-3 Previous experience in a 4*/5* hotel as an Accommodation Manager in a 100 bedroom hotel is essential for this role as the Manager & Assistant Accommodation Manager will manage all the Supervisors and Accommodation Assistants on a day by day basis. Knowledge of Rosters, Training, Standards, Chemical training is required for this role. Responsibilities included in the role; " Ensure the highest levels of standards with regards hygiene and cleanliness. " Recruitment of new team members when required. " Training of team as and when required. " Delegation of the Accommodation Team. " Provide instruction to team daily. " Liaise daily with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the operation. " Checking of all rooms and public areas. " Managing Rosters, Payroll, Laundry Supplies, Chemical and Costs.
