OPERATIONS MANAGER DELUXE KERRY HOTEL. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager for a Deluxe Kerry Hotel. This hotel is located in a scenic part of Kerry, where they run a successful operation encompassing, Rooms, Bar Food, and Restaurant and Banqueting. . The ideal candidate will have experience at a Senior Management level in a 4* or 5* star property and must have a full understanding of the operational requirements of the business as well as the managerial and financial aspects. In particular the ideal candidate will have a strong F&B background with exposure to Front Office. This role is very much Hands in and reports to the GM. Key responsibilities within this role include: Ensure the smooth day to day operation of all hotel departments. Liaising with department managers ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service. Regularly meeting with the sales team to analyse business trends and maximise sales opportunities. To deliver the effective control and management of costs. To manage all operations of the hotel to highest standards in the absence of the General Manager. Can introduce new ideas, concepts and can up sell. Is driven by great service standards and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will meet the following requirements: Previous Operations, Deputy or F&B Management experience in a 4*/5* Hotel Operation. Strong Experience in Restaurant & Bar Operations. Good knowledge of Cocktails, Gins and Designer Cocktails. Strong communication skills with both customers and employees. Self-motivated, hard working team player. Working knowledge of PMS .ie Opera, Guestline, Hotsoft. Good Reporting Skills with Daily, weekly and monthly reports. Is. Assertive but fair to staff and customers. Flexible schedule and flexibility of work schedule as seasonally affected (Position is all year round.
