They are now looking for a Lead Test Technician to join their team. You’ll be supported to increase your leadership skills, share your existing expertise with others and play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the business. As the Lead Test Technician, you’ll plan and co-ordinate technical work and ensure resources are fully utilised during each shift. In this varied role, you will: - Supervise personnel and ensure they perform to the best of their ability. - Maintain machinery. - Make sure that scheduled preventative maintenance is carried out. - Identify ways to improve equipment performance, changeover time, cost effectiveness, waste and PPM reduction. - Ensure that test equipment is being fully utilised. To be considered, you’ll need: - At least five years’ experience in a hands-on test role. - Product and process experience. - A certificate and/or diploma in engineering (NFQ Level 6 or 7. Committed and highly-motivated, as the Lead Test Technician, you will have great communication skills. You’ll also have strong team-working skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
