SNR CHEF DE PARTIE- JUNIOR SOUS CHEF ( BISTRO /GASTRO STYLE) TRALEE Co. KERRY. The main responsibilities for this role are to assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef and kitchen brigade in ensuring we consistently deliver the highest standard and quality of cuisine to our customers, in a safe and hygienic environment. This role works under a highly respectable Head Chef with a wealth of knowledge and can learn from an Expert in their field. Specific responsibilities include: " To ensure all guest requests are met. " To assist Head Chef/Sous Chef in updating all menus consistently and seasonally according to standard. " To ensure all products used are well above standard for quality. " To ensure all Standards are met in relation to mise en place, food preparation and cooking, food presentation and food hygiene, " To ensure there are excellent lines of communication open with food service personnel. " To assist in all areas of the Hotel kitchen as required. We are looking for someone who is flexible, dedicated and hard working with the capability of carrying out all duties to a consistently high standard. Successful applicants must have: " A minimum of 2/3years previous Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef experience in a similar environment. " Experience in Bar Food/ Restaurant/Bistro. " Ability to work under pressure. " Recognised chef qualifications. " Good working knowledge of HACCP. " Strong interpersonal and communication skills. " Strong on Mise En Place and Food Service. " Can Handle A La Carte/ Volume Operation. The position has an immediate start and salary is commensurate with experience.
