We are recruiting talented research chemists who will join the R&D team and work on the extraction, purification and formulation of new products. You will play a key role in implmenting the development of new technologies and products. The role involves a number of cutting edge collaborations with major universities worldwide, including EU Horizon 2020 projects. Responsibilities and Duties. Develop extraction and purification procedures for natural products at lab scale. Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on raw materials using laboratory analytical techniques and experimentation. Make stable and efficient formulations to meet desired specifications in plant bioscience and animal food area. Optimize formulated ingredients to meet cost objectives and to manage availability of raw materials. Conduct stability testing and record results. Plan, execute and monitor laboratory research programs and technologies and manage daily laboratory operations. Monitor equipment operations and maintain cleanliness in the laboratory. Follow industry standards on scientific significance, accuracy, safety and record keeping. Qualifications & experience. BSc or higher in chemistry, pharmacy, food science or chemical engineering. MSc./PhD is advantageous. In depth knowledge of inorganic and organic chemistry. Knowledge of applied mathematics and physical chemistry is advantageous. Personal attributes: Ambitious and driven. Aptitude for practical chemistry, extractions & isolation. Disciplined, with excellent problem solving skills. Organized, focused and have excellent time management skills.
