The OPW is responsible for the conservation, restoration, management and presentation of key elements of the State’s portfolio of historic parks, gardens, great houses & estates, and cultural landscapes at a number of different locations around Ireland. A vacancy currently exists in in Kerry for Park Superintendent, Grade II. Reporting to the relevant Line Manager within the National Historic Properties Division, the successful candidate will be directly responsible for: • The day to day management of the sites within the region. At present this includes the Blasket Visitor Centre, Dún Chaoin and other state owned property on the Great Blasket Island; • The development and supervision of visitor facilities and services; • The management of staff.
