HR Manager - Unique Co. Kerry Hotel. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee a renowned hotel based in Co. Kerry. The ideal candidate will be from a Hotel background, and will assist the HOD's and Senior Management. Key elements of the role include: Management and administration of all employee files, ensuring compliance with both legislation and company standards. Responsible for the recruitment and selection process. Auditing all processes quarterly to ensure compliance across the company, providing feedback and advice to managers and staff. Ensuring HR budget is in line with targets. Monitor payroll, control hours and employee costs. First point of contact for first level advice on policies and procedures for Line Managers. Reviewing and amending policies and procedures where necessary. Responsibility for the maintenance of the online HR database. Implementing training and development plans. Ensuring ongoing training in line with business needs, and consistent coaching and mentoring. Analysing and solving employees' questions, problems and/or requests efficiently and effectively. Responsible for alerting managers to their employee's forthcoming probationary periods and yearly reviews. Coordinating internal engagement and recognition schemes. HR Manager Key Skills/Attributes. HR/CIPD qualified, with a minimum of 5-8 years Hotel industry experience. Experience working in large hotel environment. Exceptional communication skills, with an in-depth knowledge of employment legislation. Must have proven IR ER and Employment Law experiences from past employment. Standards driven, with excellent organisation and time-management skills. Experience delivering group and individual workshops. Discrete, approachable and reliable. Personality and energy. Be willing to use own initiative and take ownership of work. Demonstrate a good understanding of the role of HR and be willing to build a long and successful career in the field. Ability to multi-task and manage a varying work load. Meticulous attention to detail. Has a vision, can organise the HR Department. Salary €Excellent.
