DUTY / ASSISTANT MANAGERS FANTASTIC 4* & 5* HOTELS CO.KERRY. To provide a presence throughout the hotel as the Manager on Duty, to create guest relationships and to make sure that all guests receive the maximum attention at all times. We are seeking a candidate that is hands on in operations in F&B. This role encompasses between the Restaurant,, Bar & Banqueting of the Hotel, particular strength in restaurant is essential coupled with hands on exp in a busy bar/banqueting also area also. Job Duties: o Providing a very consistent management presence throughout the hotel during key times. Recognising guests, entertaining guests and providing a level of personal commitment to ensuring their stay is an enjoyable one. o To physically check with all departments that they are set up for success for their shift. o To be responsible for any "Guest Opportunities" that may arise. o To be responsible for any emergency situations that may arise. o To ensure that all aspects of service and product is delivered in all areas. o To liaise with the General/Deputy/Operations Manager on all aspects of the shift procedures through the day and night. o To keep in close contact with the various Heads of Department to ensure that all aspects of their department is well staffed, working well and adhering to standards. o To operate the hotel Opening and Closing Procedures. o To reflect and enhance the hotel's mission and objectives on a daily basis. o To adopt a good work ethic and team work and be readily available to assist in all areas of the hotel as required dependent upon the needs of the business. o To communicate efficiently and effectively and attend daily shift briefings prior to service and weekly communication meetings that are held in your area. o To participate in training sessions delivered to employees. o To ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in your area. o To be familiar with and adhere to all areas outlined in the company handbook. o To be fully conversant and capable of within your area and all areas connected to the company health & safety & hygiene Policies which include fire safety and prevention. Prerequisites: 2/3 Years' Experience as Duty or Assistant Manager in a 4*/ 5* Hotel. Excellent F&B Exposure in Bar, Restaurant & Banqueting. Experience in an Irish Hotel coupled with any International experience is a bonus. Is a hands on Manager working the floor. High detail for standards and excellence in customer care.
