Operations Manager for 5 Star Luxury property in Co. Kerry. The successful candidate will assist the General Manager to manage all aspects of the Hotel, ensuring that each area delivers consistently high standards of 5* guest service. This will be delivered while achieving business objectives and maximising the profitability of the Rooms, Food and Beverage, Banqueting operations and maintaining effective cost controls throughout all departments. The ideal candidate must have similar experience in a 5 star hotel and have excellent communication and guest service skills. This position may suit a strong Assistant Manager or a F&B Manager seeking to climb the management ladder in an exceptional hotel property. Responsibilities will include the following; - presentation and maintenance standards of all areas of the Hotel. - implementation of standard operating procedures throughout the Hotel. - assisting with management and staff training and development. - delivering on budgeted food & beverage and payroll costs. - implementing and monitoring all health & safety and food safety and hygiene standards. and procedures. - energy efficiency and reduction of wastage in all areas. The person will oversee the property in the absence of the GM. This role is very much hands on in FOH and BOH areas of the property. Own transport is essential for this role.
