We are currently recruiting for a Night Porter to work in our hotel. The ideal person must have relevant experience in a similiar 4 star hotel. Punctuality and reliability will be key as the successful candidate will be responsible for the health and safety of guests during the night shift. The Job: As the Night Porter you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel standards are delivered to guests and customers at all times throughout the night. Some of the duties include: - Set up of meeting rooms. - Cleaning duties to ensure public areas are kept clean and tidy through the night. - To serve Food and Beverages in accordance with hotel standards on request by hotel residents. - To consciously monitor the security of the hotel at all times. - To report all incidences during the night. - Completion of Night Audit duties. - Check in of late arrivals. - Check out of early departures. The Person: The ideal candidate for this role will be computer literate, fluent in English (both written and spoken) and have excellent interpersonal skills as this is a customer facing role.
