ABOUT THE HOSPITAL: University Hospital Kerry in Tralee is the third-largest of seven acute hospitals in the Health Service Executive (HSE) South Region. It serves as the main hospital for County Kerry and also serves the people of parts of north Cork and west Limerick, or a population of well over 150,000. THE POSITION: There are vacancies across a range of specialties at Kerry University Hospital for both newly qualified and experienced staff nurses trained within the EU. The positions available are all full-time, permanent positions. THE LOCATION: Both hospitals are located in the South of Ireland. Kerry University Hospital is located in Tralee meaning "strand of the Lee (river)"). Tralee is the county town of County Kerry in the south-west of Ireland. The town is on the northern side of the neck of the Dingle Peninsula, and is the largest town in County Kerry. The town's population including suburbs was 23,691 as of the 2016 census making it the 8th largest town, and 14th largest urban settlement in Ireland.
