SPA SUPERVISOR DELUXE KERRY HOTEL. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Spa Supervisor for this leading Kerry Hotel The hotel operates at a luxury level and is seeking a supervisor that will oversee the day to day operations of the spa and report directly to the Spa Manager. Scope of the Role. Assisting the Spa Manager with Managerial responsibilities including the efficient and effective management of the spa department; championing customer service by exceeding customers' expectations through consistently high professional standards of service. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations; and overseeing maintenance of equipment and premises. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Create and maintain relations with spa guests and members through having an active presence in spa reception and other key guest areas. Maintain consistent guest satisfaction through collating guest feedback received from hotel surveys and communicate this with team, implementing changes or training where necessary. Deal with any client complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring client satisfaction and revenue is not jeopardised. Record any grievances and follow up accordingly, liaising with the Spa Manager and HR Dept where necessary. Conduct spa tours for VIPs, journalists and prospective members in the absence of the Spa Manager. Act as an Ambassador for the spa at all times. Assist the Spa Manager with the planning and implementation of marketing activities within the Spa, with support from the Hotel. TEAM MANAGEMENT: Provide leadership, direction and support alongside the Spa Manager to the employees of the Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver excellent standards of service in all areas. Ensure that all Hotel HR policies and procedures are followed correctly and in line with employment legislation. Motivate, encourage and drive the team, maintaining the correct level of professional and qualified personnel, overseeing all facilities and activities within the Spa. Assist with monitoring all personnel procedures including rotas, sickness, holidays and payroll. Lead and motivate staff to encourage and obtain maximum commitment and efficient service. Set appropriate sales targets for team members, alongside the spa Manager, to encourage up selling and profit maximisation. OPERATIONS/GENERAL. Aim to achieve consistently high scores in the internal & external audits, resolving any highlighted issues through training or reviewing operational procedures. Support all spa operational areas and team members by proactively assisting guests and undertaking operational duties as and when required. Assist the Spa Manager in ensuring all legislation and requirements are being upheld. Assist the Spa Manager to organise structured and interactive spa team meetings on a monthly basis. COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT. Assist the Spa Manager to ensure that Team Members are trained up to required quality standards, in compliance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy/Emergency Procedures and to meet statutory obligations. Maintain all relaxation and treatment rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Company standards and to comply with statutory legislation. PREQUISITES. Previous Spa Supervisory Experience. Previous Supervisory/ Management Experience. Have Managed a team under your remit. Excellent on PC, Excel and Database Management. Great Personality and Assertive with Staff Management. Position is based all year round 5/7, various shifts. Own transport is essential for this role. Salary 30K Approx. DOE.
